JoAnn Waller 
Born: 9-Sep-1937Died: 12-Jun-2022 JoAnn died at her home in Sigourney, Iowa. She was born September 9, 1937 to Edmund and Mary Vanderschaegen Waller in Sandstone, Minnesota. She graduated from City High School in 1955. Joann was employed by MRC in Iowa City as data entry later she was a professional secretary for University of Iowa Hospital in Indianapolis. She volunteered to feed the polio patients that were in the iron lung. JoAnn loved her pets, cooking, and music. She was a founding member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Iowa City. Her family was her pride and joy of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Don Waller, Gary Waller and sister Barbara Waller Andrews.
She is survived by her children David (Danise) Petsel of Coralville, Lori (Doug) Yates of Sigourney, seven grandchildren Ilea, Jamie, John, Elise, Jacob. Lindsay and Isaac. Four great grandchildren, one brother Charles Waller of Ankeny.
