Susan Carol Kulstad 
Born: 13-Aug-1955Died: 6-Oct-2014 Kulstad, Susan Carol Beloved Dearheart. Passed away peacefully October 6 of endometrial cancer. Upon learn- ing that her cancer was terminal, she wrote close friends and family the following words: "Life goes around as it will for each of us, and I have made a peace with this news. [My hope is that you] continue your life journeys with what's in store for you, be with me as we can in the meantime, and whenever I do hit my final note remember me for my quirky, lovable, laughable self. I love you all." Born in Minneapolis, August 13, 1955, Susan grew up in southwest Minneapolis. She studied at the University of Minnesota, but earned her B.A. in Natural Sciences (cum laude) from Harvard University Extension in 1982 while employed by the Environmental Protection Agency in Boston. After her retirement from the EPA, Susan returned to Minnesota to be closer to family and friends. She worked as a project analyst for the Minnesota Department of Health and later formed an environmental consulting firm, Adroit Solutions. In recent years, she moved to the Colony in Edina and was active in its association. Preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Vanderschaegen Kulstad, she is survived by father, Lauritz S. Kulstad and siblings, Mark (Marcia Citron), John (Nancy), Cynthia, Jim (Elaine Widner), David (Stella Stanger), Meg (Ron Paulson) and her dear nephews, Phil, Jerry and Chris Paulson. Susan touched everyone she met. She was a wise and tenacious woman who lived, loved, worked, and played expansively - "Be-ing" her vision for a world of compassion, equity, beauty, and humor.
