Roland Eldon Kruse Born: 11-Sep-1931 Died: 16-Jan-2007 Father: Mother: He died at Mary Greely Medical Center in Ames, Iowa His parents were Albert and Elsie(Giese) Kruse. He was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church and later joined Swede Valley Lutheran Church. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1949 and then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After returning home, he started farming and raising livestock, which was his lifes dream. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His hobbies were hunting and fishing until his health failed. Survivors include his wife, Stella Kruse; step-children, Diane Leibli (Jim), Brian Jones and Tim Shadle; six grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Flinn, Amanda and James Leibli, Megan Shadle and Hunter Jones; two brothers, Harold Kruse(Lavon) and Richard Kruse(Lana); sister-in-law, Donna Kruse. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter, Kathy Shadle. |
