Françoise was the first Vanderschaeghe to move to France. He was a tanner. He installed an industrial tannery in Mouvaux ( a village close to Tourcoing) where he met my great grand mother, Mathilde NOREILLE, while coming to deliver leather in Lille, where she lived with her parents. The family tannery does not exist any more.
