She died from respiratory failure after a 2 month illness. Buried in Finlayson, MN.
It was also thought that she may have died from a brain aneurysm. Mike VanDerSchaegen was with her at the time as he had stopped for a cup of coffee!
Her mother, Maria Good-Willi, died the previous year on February 9.
