Died: 21-Aug-1997   Donald J. Garreau, 65, Coachman Terrace, Geneva Township, WI, died Thursday, Aug 21, at Friendship Manor, Delavan.

He was born April 29, 1932 in Montreal, the son of George and Clara Brisson-Garreau.

He served with the United States Army military police during the occupation of Germany in the early 1950s.

He married Faye VanDerSchaegen March 16, 1954 in Hurley.

He served for many years as a police officer in Skokie, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Faye; four sons, Raymond, Twin Lakes, Michael, Lake Geneva, Douglas, Lake Geneva, and Gary, Wildwood, IL;
six grandchildren; a brother, Leonard, Hurley; and four sisters, Millie Maki, Union Grove, Lorraine Devore, Union Grove, Irene Berndt, Ironwood, MI and Dorothy Vick, Montreal.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas, and two sisters, Corinne Barto and Florence Trombi.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 25 at Haase-Derrick-Lockwood funeral home, 800 Park Drive, Lake Geneva. 
Rev. S. Daniel Dexter, Pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiated.
