IRONWOOD, Mich. -- Palma "Polly" Jean Chouinard, 70, lost her battle against brain cancer, when she died, Tuesday, April, 5, 2011, in Ironwood.
She fought a courageous battle with no complaints.
Polly grew up in Iron Belt, Wis., and enjoyed going to the casino, gardening and her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, James, Ironwood; daughter Jean (Pat) Olson; son Anton, Ironwood; sisters Juliann (Tom) Soltis, Alaska, Carol (Frank) DuCharm and Albert Myllykangas, Iron Belt; grandchildren, Joseph (Janine) Abt and Samantha Abt, Wausau, Bradley Abt, Ironwood, Kimberly and Corey Chouinard, Hurley, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Violet and Graham Abt, Wausau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Taisto and Martha Myllykangas; and a sister Delphine Matiska.
