The following is from Johan Verplancke:
He moved to Liessel (the Netherlands).  He married Anna Vandecasteele on 19/05/1870 in Waardamme.  The  marriage certificate says his profession was "workman" but it mentions also  that the colonel of the cavalry school had given his approval for the  marriage, so I think he was still doing his military service.  His bride Anna Vandecasteele was born in  Waardamme on 03/02/1850 and was the daughter of Carel Vandecasteele and Francisca Casset.  In  Ruddervoorde I find the birth of one son : Henri Decorte (fs Augustinus DeCorte and Anna Vandecasteele) (IIIa) on 20/08/1870.  Attention : different spelling of the last name.
